Funding
Kilsyth Community Market Garden has received funding contributions for Phase One of the Kelvin Valley Honey Project from:
- The Scottish Rural Development Programme - Kelvin Valley LEADER Programme - £16,772.17.
- BIG Lottery Awards for All Programme - £9,500
- Central Scotland Forest Trust £500
- KCMG is contributing volunteer time to the value of £4,551
- The Co-operative Community Fund £1,500
Additional funding is currently being sought for Phase Two of the project which will enable a further 30 individuals and 10 schools or community groups to access our loan hive, equipment and starter colony programme in 2012 together with employing a Development Worker to coordinate the project from April 2011 to 2014.
Further funding will be sought to finance the loan hive programme for 2013 - 2015.
